COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on every aspect of our lives. Whether it is classes, business meetings or congregations, gathering of any kind is risky if not fatal. The impact of 2020 is still felt in our industry and institutions are battling with what needs to be safe for their clients (students) and the acknowledgments of their client's hard-earned achievements.

Nickay Productions like many other companies in the media space has been impacted hugely due to no large gatherings or events taking place. With current level 1 lockdown restrictions in South Africa, we see a slow uptake in business yet businesses in general are still cautious

 

 

Hybrid graduation is a combination of traditional graduation and online graduation. Hybrid graduations are in person graduations born in the COVID 19 pandemic, with the health guidelines enforced and taken into consideration. Hybrid grads can take many forms, drive-through graduations, limited seating graduations with a combination of in person and online experience, etc.

 

With COVID-19 legislation, gatherings and travel have been severely restricted, and arguably the most impacted are funerals and memorial services. These ceremonies have a deep-seated cultural and significant place in most communities.
